Prac-Tic Flea Spot On Solution

Prac-tic Spot On is a topical treatment which effectively kills various external parasites. It prevents parasitic infestation by destroying fleas and ticks. It kills fleas (Ctenocephalides canis and C. felis) within 24 hours. It also controls the Flea Allery Dermatits (FAD). This product kills ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus, Ixodes scapularis, Dermacentor reticulatus, Dermacentor variabilis and Amblyomma americanum) within 48 hours, and has persistent acaricidal (tick-killing). This spot-on remains effective up to 4 weeks.

Information:

Prac-tic Spot-On for dogs consist Pyriprole as active ingredient. Pyriprole comes from the family of phenylpyrazole - broad spectrum non-systemic insecticides and acaracides. These act by blocking the GABBA receptors to kill the target parasite on contact. This Spot-on can be used on puppies over 8 weeks old, or weighing over 4lbs.

• Provides a full month’s tick and flea protection in each treatment
• It remains effective after walks in the rain, or swimming
• It is effective, even after shampooing
• It kills 99% of ticks in 48 hours
• It kills 100% of fleas in 24 hours

• Remove one pipette from the package.
• Hold it in an upright position.
• Open the top of the snap-off top along the scored line.
• Part the coat on the back of the dog between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible.
• Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze and empty the content gently on the skin.

Dosage and Administration:

The recommended minimum dose is 12.5 mg/lbs body weight of pyriprole equivalent to 0.1 ml/lbs body weight of the product. Weigh the dog before selecting the appropriate pipette size for best results.

• PRAC-TIC 56.25 mg spot-on solution for very small dogs  (4 - 9lbs): 1 pipette with 0.45 ml (equivalent to 28.1 - 12.5 mg/lbs pyriprole)

• PRAC-TIC 137.5 mg spot-on solution for small dogs (9 to 24lbs): 1 pipette with 1.1 ml (equivalent to 30.6 - 12.5 mg/lbs pyriprole)

• PRAC-TIC 275 mg spot-on solution for medium dogs (24 - 48lbs): 1 pipette with 2.2 ml (equivalent to 25.0 - 12.5 mg/lbs pyriprole)

• PRAC-TIC 625 mg spot-on solution for large dogs (48 - 110lbs): 1 pipette with 5.0 ml (equivalent to 28.4 - 12.5 mg/lbs pyriprole)

• To be used only on dogs
• Keep out of reach of children
• Avoid contact with the pet's eyes
• Do not smoke, drink or eat during application.
• Do not use rabbits, or on other animals without veterinary guidance.
• Do not use on dogs under the recommended age or weight, or which are known to have hypersensitivity to insecticides.
• Do not use on sick or convalescent dogs.

Contraindications:

• The safety of this product has not been evaluated on dogs during pregnancy and lactation periods nor in breeding dogs.
• Not recommended for dogs younger than 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 4lbs.
• If your dog is sick or convalescing, then do not administer this treatment to him.
