Interceptor Plus Chews for Dogs

Interceptor Plus Chews protect your dog against 5 types of worms including heartworms. These monthly chicken flavored chews are formulated using two active ingredients- Milbemycin Oxime and Praziquantel. They are effective in preventing heartworms; and treating and controlling adult hookworms, adult whipworms, adult roundworms, and adult tapeworms. It is suitable to use in dogs and puppies older than 6 weeks of age and weighing 2 lbs or more.

• Suitable to use in dogs and puppies older than 6 weeks of age and weighing 2 lbs or more

• Administer the chew orally or mix with a small amount of food, once every month
• Chews can be broken into pieces for easier administration
• Ensure that the complete dose is consumed
• Each chew contains a minimum dosage of 0.23 mg/lb (0.5mg/kg) milbemycin oxime and 2.28 mg/lb (5 mg/kg) praziquantel.
• For heartworm prevention, give for at least 6 months after exposure to mosquitoes

Follow the proper dosage, as given below, according to the bodyweight of your dog

• Treatment should last for at least 6 months after exposure to mosquitoes
• Dogs should be tested for heartworms before administration
• Discontinue use in case of allergic reaction to any active ingredient
• Do not use in puppies less than 6 weeks of age or weighing less than 2 lbs
• Safety has not been evaluated in breeding or lactating dogs
